Description

Captured by photographer Nicholas Maggio in Los Angeles, this striking outdoor scene features a basketball player mid-air as he dunks the ball into the hoop. The asphalt court is marked with crisp white lines and is situated dramatically right next to the vast ocean under an overcast sky. Natural sunlight illuminates the scene with warm tones, highlighting the athletic motion of the player against the coastal backdrop. Another distant basketball hoop stands further down the court, adding depth to the open-air composition.
