Nastasia Dusapin, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This black and white portrait by photographer Nastasia Dusapin features two female subjects posed on a tennis court. The woman on the left has long curly hair, wears dark sunglasses, a patterned crop top, pleated skirt, and knee-high socks, while holding a tennis racket. The woman on the right has dark hair tied back, wears a knit vest and a light pleated skirt, holding a racket in one hand and delicately balancing a tennis ball above her palm. They are positioned outdoors in front of a diamond-mesh chain-link fence with strong overhead sunlight creating lens flare. The composition captures a nostalgic, athletic aesthetic with sharp focus on the subjects and distinct grain characteristic of analogue capture.
