Zinnia Kumar More Or Less Aw23 2023

Description

This diptych presents two contrasting yet conceptually linked images from the More Or Less Aw23 project featuring talent Zinnia Kumar. The left frame features a close-up macro view of a patterned spider positioned centrally on an intricate, symmetrical web against a dark, shadowy background. The right frame shows a full-length shot of a person standing amidst tall, slender tree trunks in a dark, nocturnal woodland setting, with both arms raised in the air. The subject wears textured white fringe-like attire that echoes the organic patterns of the web. Direct lighting illuminates the central subjects in both panels, creating high contrast against the dark forest and nighttime backdrop.
