Description

This outdoor photograph by Mitch Epstein captures a group of men gathered in a snowy landscape during daylight. Several men stand in a line playing traditional handheld drums with drumsticks, while another man bends forward holding a long feathered staff or pipe adorned with colorful ribbons. They are dressed in casual winter clothing including hooded sweatshirts, jackets, and jeans, positioned near parked vehicles in an open terrain covered in patches of snow and dry grass under a bright blue sky.
