Description

This dynamic portrait by photographer Michael Heinsen features a young child wearing a blue-and-white snorkel mask pushed up onto their forehead and a colourful floral swimsuit. The child is captured mid-laugh with eyes closed and mouth open in a joyful expression. A dense curtain of water droplets and splashes fills the background and surrounds the subject, catching bright highlights and creating a textured, shimmering screen. The lighting is direct and bright, accentuating the wet texture of the child's hair and skin. The high-speed capture freezes the explosive movement of the water, emphasizing a playful and energetic atmosphere.
