Melissa Alcena, Photographer, New York

Description

This striking portrait captured by photographer Melissa Alcena features a black man suspended mid-air in an impressive split leap. He wears a metallic blue top and patterned leggings, holding a small hat close to his chest with an expressive look on his face. The background consists of a bright, expansive blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds, emphasizing the height and dynamism of the jump. Natural daylight illuminates the subject clearly against the open atmosphere.
