Maya Ish-shalom, Illustrator, New York

Description

This digital illustration by New York-based illustrator Maya Ish-shalom features a stylized, fragmented figure depicted in profile against a deep rust-red background. The upper body wears a dark hat and coat, cleanly separated from a pale tan lower body that strides forward with dark boots. A box-like shape forms a transition between the disjointed upper and lower halves. Bold white Hebrew text is positioned on the left side of the frame. The overall composition employs a graphic, screen-printed aesthetic with flat planes of warm earth tones.
