Matt Hawthorne, Photographer, New York

Description

This dynamic outdoor fitness photograph by Matt Hawthorne captures two men engaged in an active workout session against a textured wall. In the foreground, an East Asian man wearing a dark t-shirt and light shorts crouches while gripping a heavy black medicine ball. In the background, a Black man in a white tank top and dark shorts reaches dynamically toward a second medicine ball suspended in the air. Harsh, direct sunlight casts sharp shadows across the ground and wall, emphasizing the muscular definition and athletic exertion of both subjects. The warm color grading and gritty asphalt surface enhance the high-energy, athletic character of the scene.
