Description

This dynamic outdoor photograph captured by Matt Hawthorne in New York portrays a diverse group of dancers gathered on a concrete basketball court underneath a highway overpass. A woman in athletic brown leggings, a matching crop top, and orange socks dances energetically in the foreground as other individuals watch, cheer, and move along in the background. The low-angle vertical composition accentuates the movement, while dramatic ambient lighting combined with warm highlights emphasizes the urban athletic setting. Several participants wear activewear in vibrant tones of pink, red, and blue paired with white sneakers. Text along the right edge credits the photographer.
