Mario Kroes, Los Angeles

Description

This macro photograph by Mario Kroes captures a single poppy flower viewed from underneath against a clean, pale background. The delicate petals feature a vibrant gradient shifting from deep crimson red at the outer edges to soft white near the central receptacle. A thin, dark stem extends upward, curving slightly as it supports the flower head. The composition emphasizes organic textures and botanical detail under soft, even lighting.
