Description

Captured by photographer Manu Fauque, this striking night photograph depicts a diverse family of three posing outdoors in front of a basketball hoop where the net is dramatically ablaze with bright orange flames. The mother on the left wears a light-colored textured dress and rests her hand on a basketball held by a young child standing in the center. A man in a dark suit jacket and white collared shirt stands behind them in the deep shadows. The scene is illuminated primarily by the firelight of the hoop, casting a warm glow on the subjects against a dark night sky. The analog capture features visible grain, dark vignette borders, and a distinctive reddish light leak at the top edge of the frame.
