About

This intimate portrait, captured by photographer Joyce Kim in Los Angeles, features an east Asian man in his 20s or 30s seated inside a car. He wears a tailored grey suit jacket, a light-coloured collared shirt, and a striped tie, looking thoughtfully toward the side. Raindrops speckle the angled windshield, creating natural distortion and bokeh-like water patterns across the glass. The moody interior lighting and dark exterior tones give the scene a cinematic, atmospheric quality. The composition focuses tightly on the driver through the rain-streaked front window, emphasizing the quiet solitude of the moment.
