Luke Kuisis, Photographer, Cape Town

Description

This black and white portrait features a close up of a smiling woman photographed by Luke Kuisis in Cape Town. Her right arm is raised horizontally across her forehead, casting a sharp shadow over the upper half of her face while her mouth and teeth remain fully illuminated in bright light. She wears a dark sleeveless top and her wet hair falls loosely behind her shoulders. The high contrast lighting emphasizes the textures of her skin, lips, and teeth against a plain light background.
