Elle Denmark Luca by Marco van Rijt 2026

Description

This monochrome architectural photograph captures the striking exterior of a modern building featuring a cantilevered concrete upper section resting atop a white painted brick wall. Large windows reflect surrounding bare trees against an overcast sky, highlighting the textural interplay between smooth concrete, rough stone accents, and clean painted masonry. A low-angle perspective emphasizes the geometric massing and overhanging timber-beamed roof structure. The composition is rendered in high-contrast black and white, accentuating the brutalist and minimalist design elements. This image is part of the Luca project by photographer Marco van Rijt, featured in Elle Denmark.
