Lou Escobar, Photographer, Vancouver

Description

This portrait photograph by Lou Escobar features an adult man wearing a tan blazer and a light-coloured t-shirt against a textured grey background. A striking vertical tear runs directly down the center of the frame, splitting the image and revealing a dark, textured layer beneath the torn edges. The subject grips his lapels slightly while looking forward with a neutral expression. The lighting is soft and even, highlighting the textures of the blazer fabric and the raw, jagged edges of the paper tear.
