Lorenzo Vitturi, Photographer, London

About

This striking photographic artwork by Lorenzo Vitturi features a human figure in the center of the frame, entirely covered and draped in a vibrant red blanket with diagonal stripes. A tall, cylindrical yellow structure with textured fibers sits atop the head, accompanied by dense clusters of magenta, brown, and black yarn or textile material that obscures the face. The figure stands against a barren, sandy desert landscape under a clear, bright blue sky with distant low hills on the horizon. The natural lighting casts soft shadows, highlighting the rich textures of the woven fabrics and tactile materials used in the sculptural headpiece.
