Libby Burns, Illustrator, London

Description

This playful illustrated city map by London illustrator Libby Burns presents a vibrant overhead grid of streets interspersed with whimsical architectural and everyday objects. The colorful composition features bright blue, green, yellow, and red buildings, stylized trees, a large cat, teapots, and a giant sandwich with a fried egg. A blue body of water representing the coastline runs along the right edge with a small sailboat gliding on it. Numbered markers and street names are scattered across the white street grid. The flat, graphic illustration style uses bold solid colors and playful geometric shapes.
