Leslie Grow, Photographer, Austin

Description

This vibrant commercial still life by photographer Leslie Grow features a small glass bottle filled with white milk resting atop a stack of dark chocolate chunks. A cinnamon stick is inserted into the bottle, topped by a glossy sliced red chili pepper, while a second whole red chili rests at the base against a bright turquoise backdrop. Melted chocolate drips down the sides of the chocolate blocks under bright, direct lighting that casts sharp shadows. The composition is arranged vertically with clean lines and high-contrast saturation, creating a bold graphic aesthetic.
