Laurie Bartley, London

About

This portrait photograph by Laurie Bartley features a woman partially concealed behind tall, out-of-focus stalks of golden wheat in an outdoor field. The subject gazes directly toward the camera with a serious expression, framed by dark hair and freckled skin. Natural sunlight illuminates the scene, casting warm golden tones across her face and the surrounding vegetation. She wears a patterned top, and a textured brown bag is visible in the lower foreground. The shallow depth of field creates a layered composition with the wheat stalks acting as a natural veil.
