Laurent Chéhère, Photographer, Paris

Description

This striking photographic work by Paris-based photographer Laurent Chehère captures a surreal scene inside a dark railway tunnel. At the center, an aged automobile rides along wet train tracks, bearing a prominent statue standing atop its roof with one arm raised. The interior walls of the arched tunnel glow with a vibrant turquoise and blue ambient illumination, contrasting sharply with the natural rock and hanging vegetation at the entrance. The composition draws the viewer deep into the vanishing point, blending industrial elements with fantastical digital artistry.
