Laura Page, Illustrator, London

About

This watercolor illustration by London-based illustrator Laura Page captures a serene moment with a lioness sleeping soundly draped across a thick tree branch. The artwork utilizes warm washes of brown and tan for the lioness, contrasting with vibrant green foliage overhead and vertical green strokes representing grass or undergrowth below. The sky background is rendered in soft peach and cream watercolor tones. The application of paint creates visible textures with layered washes and subtle brush edges typical of traditional watercolor media.
