Lars Borges, Photographer, Berlin

Description

This interior photograph by Lars Borges captures a small round cafe table flanked by three chairs arranged on a tiled floor. The scene is set against a warm terracotta-coloured wall, across which distinct, angular shadows from vertical architectural elements stretch horizontally. Late-afternoon sunlight illuminates the composition, creating high contrast and rich orange and deep red tones throughout. A small round ashtray rests on the center of the dark tabletop. The lighting emphasizes the clean geometry of the furniture and the textured quality of the surfaces.
