Kurt Stallaert, Photographer, Sydney

Description

This striking photographic portrait by Kurt Stallaert features an elderly man with a weathered face, white beard, and wrinkles, wearing a patterned flat cap and a plaid shirt with a textured vest. He cups his hands around a wooden smoking pipe as wisps of white smoke curl upward into the air. The background consists of a dramatic, craggy mountain range under a cloudy sky. The lighting highlights the textures of the man's skin, wool cap, and plaid fabric. The composition creates a moody and contemplative atmosphere.
