Katinka Herbert, Photographer, London

Description

A striking portrait captured by photographer Katinka Herbert featuring a Black woman standing centrally in a blue athletic uniform with white knee-high socks and number six printed on her top, holding a volleyball under her arm. To her left, a brown pitbull-type dog sits attentively on the ground. Directly behind them is a dark blue vintage car parked in front of a dilapidated, weathered building facade featuring classical columns and distressed stucco walls. The natural daylight accentuates the textured architecture and earthy tones of the scene.
