Description

An overhead still life composition captured by photographer Kate Mathis features a rustic bowl containing golden baked scones lined with a printed linen cloth. To the left, a stack of playing cards with intricate green and gold details rests beside a sleek metallic gold pen upon a grey notebook or portfolio. A small brass bowl holds matches with dark blue tips next to a branded matchbox. The arrangement sits on a textured grey surface beside a folded dark blue fabric, illuminated by soft natural light creating gentle shadows.
