Juanita Richards, Photographer, London

Description

This portrait by photographer Juanita Richards captures a smiling Black woman outdoors in London. She has long braided hair and is wearing a green mesh basketball jersey with black trim and white lettering across the chest, paired with large spiral hoop earrings and a delicate gold chain necklace. Her hand is raised slightly near her head under bright sunlight, casting natural shadows across her face. The background reveals residential buildings and greenery under a clear sky, framed by dark analog film borders with visible film stock markings at the top.
