About

This monochrome close-up image captures a pair of hands gracefully playing the keys of an electronic keyboard. Sheet music rests on the left side of the instrument, with pages slightly angled. The composition emphasizes the delicate positioning of the fingers on the keys and the mechanical details of the synthesizer panel in the foreground. High-contrast lighting highlights the textures of the paper and the contours of the hands. The photograph was taken by Joyce Kim in Los Angeles.
