Description

This extreme close-up portrait photograph by Joshua Pestka captures a joyful woman laughing directly into the camera. Strands of dark hair sweep dynamically across her face, partially obscuring her eyes and nose while framing her wide, beaming smile. The lighting is soft and even, highlighting natural skin textures and minimal makeup. Shot against a solid neutral grey background, the composition emphasises raw emotion and tactile movement in the subject's hair. The tight framing draws intense focus to the expressive features and infectious laughter.
