Joseph Molines, Paris

Description

An editorial portrait captured by photographer Joseph Molines in Paris features a Black woman in her 20s lounging on a grey couch. She wears futuristic sunglasses, a light-coloured top, a black bandeau, and an ornate, semi-sheer metallic chainmail skirt layered over dark elements. Two rectangular biscuit snacks are affixed to her shins. She holds a video game controller in her hands, her expression candid and relaxed. A packaged snack rests on the sofa cushion beside her, and an orange plaid pillow props up her head. The composition is shot vertically from a slightly elevated angle, highlighting the casual pose against a domestic interior setting.
