John Keatley, Photographer, Seattle

Description

A studio portrait by photographer John Keatley features a young child wearing a baseball helmet and a dusty teal and grey athletic jacket. The child holds a wooden baseball bat resting against their shoulder while looking away with a thoughtful expression. Their clothes bear smudges of dirt, suggesting recent play. The lighting is soft and moody against a dark, solid background, highlighting the textures of the fabric and the subject's curly hair.
