Joanna Paterson, Photographer, London

Description

This portrait by photographer Joanna Paterson features a child with vibrant red hair seated cross-legged atop a wooden school desk, smiling broadly at the camera. The subject is wearing a blue and white patterned dress layered with a red cardigan and red tights, holding a small yellow toy. On the desk around the child sit coloured pencils in a jar and small clay sculptures. Above the scene, a suspended wire mobile with red and orange spherical elements hangs against the plain blue background. The composition is lit with soft, even lighting, creating a clean and cheerful aesthetic.
