Jeff Sciortino, Photographer, Chicago

About

This portrait photograph by Jeff Sciortino features an elderly man captured from the shoulders up with his upper body bare. He has short grey hair, a closely trimmed grey beard, and a serious expression directed straight toward the camera. The lighting is direct and creates distinct shadows around his collarbone and facial features, highlighting skin texture and chest hair. The background is a solid, warm neutral tone. The composition is centered and intimate, focusing closely on the subject.
