Jan Baldwin, Photographer, London

Description

This interior photograph by London-based photographer Jan Baldwin captures a rustic, sunlit room featuring a heavy wooden workbench laden with decorative objects. Atop the table sits a glass vase holding dried, branching twigs, along with various small ceramic bowls, organic specimens, and a vintage glass jar. To the left, a wooden chair with a patterned cushion sits beside a window framed by translucent red curtains, where an articulated metal desk lamp is mounted. Below the workbench, a small wooden toy boat rests on the floor alongside a woven basket, while a patterned ceramic bowl sits on a slatted low table in the foreground. Natural light streams through the window, casting soft shadows and highlighting the rich textures of wood, ceramics, and textiles throughout the space.
