James Merrell, Photographer, London

Description

This interior photograph by James Merrell in London captures a classically styled room featuring rich wood-paneled walls and a prominent stone fireplace mantel. A blue patterned armchair sits centrally in the frame, flanked by a brass trumpet leaning against its leg. To the right, a small wooden side table holds a light blue glass vase with a single red flower. A vibrant blue and yellow plaid curtain hangs beside a window on the left, while a framed geometric abstract painting is mounted on the wood paneling in the background. Natural light illuminates the space, highlighting the textures of the stone, wood, and patterned textiles.
