Description

This still life composition features a large white chrysanthemum flower as the central subject, positioned over a diagonal red ribbon against a dark, textured background. In the upper right corner, a reddish-brown bean pod rests near the edge of the frame. The lighting is direct and creates soft shadows, highlighting the delicate texture of the flower petals and the smooth surface of the ribbon. Captured by photographer Jack Johnstone in London, the piece employs an intimate framing that draws attention to natural forms and contrasting color accents.
