Zeynep Özkanca, Photographer, Istanbul

Description

This photograph captures a large, dynamic banner suspended mid-air above a wet, cobbled street in Istanbul. The banner features a monochrome photographic print depicting two faces in profile, rippling as if caught in the wind. The surrounding urban environment consists of classic multi-story buildings with traditional windows and architectural details lining the narrow street. Sunlight casts warm highlights and deep shadows across the stone pavement and building facades. Visible signage in the upper left corner includes festival branding and dates, while additional event posters appear along the right wall. The composition offers an atmospheric street-level perspective blending public art with historic city architecture.
