Inge Prins, Photographer, Cape Town

Description

This interior photograph captures a warm, lived-in residential dining space and adjoining living area in Cape Town, shot by photographer Inge Prins. A wooden dining table sits centrally, surrounded by several upholstered armchairs with nailhead trim and a dark wood settee against the pale yellow wall. Above the settee hangs a large, colourful abstract painting featuring bold geometric shapes in blue, black, and rust tones. A built-in bookshelf filled with books lines the left wall, and two open white doorways frame glimpses of adjacent rooms, including a green-toned space. Natural light gently illuminates the wooden flooring and the curated arrangement of domestic objects, vases, and small artworks.
