Description

This commercial advertising campaign photograph captured by photographer Ian Butterworth features a man standing on a green lawn next to a horse. The man is wearing a tan plaid suit, a patterned vest, a dress shirt, and a tie, with one hand in his trouser pocket and the other holding a lead rope attached to the horse. The brown horse is draped in a maroon blanket bearing large white text that reads PONY ABBOTT. The background shows an outdoor grassy field with foliage, hedges, and an overcast sky. Prominent overlaid text on the left side includes the CROSS BET logo and the tagline THOU SHALT NEVER PICK THE HORSE WITH A PREPOSTEROUS NAME.
