Holly Andres, Photographer, New York

Description

This interior photograph by Holly Andres depicts a woman kneeling on a vibrant red carpet in a domestically styled room. She is dressed in a pink silk-like robe or dress adorned with a floral rose pattern. Her hands rest flat on the deep red pile carpeting just in front of a heavy, vintage upright vacuum cleaner with a patterned fabric dust bag. The surrounding walls are a muted salmon tone, and a corner of a bed with patterned bedding is visible on the left. The scene is illuminated by warm, soft indoor lighting, casting gentle shadows and evoking a nostalgic, cinematic atmosphere.
