Erin Foster, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait features a smiling black woman with long braided hair wearing festive reindeer antlers, a red long-sleeve top, and patterned shorts. She is captured mid-motion, tossing her head so her braids fan out dynamically to the side, while holding a silver-wrapped gift box tied with a gold ribbon. The indoor setting includes a decorated Christmas tree trimmed with colorful ornaments on the left and a string of warm fairy lights strung against a plain wall behind her. The composition is vertical and brightly lit with soft natural illumination, highlighting the cheerful holiday mood of the scene captured by photographer Erin Foster in New York.
