About

This detailed illustrated map provides a bird's-eye perspective of the Hawthorn neighborhood in Melbourne, created by illustrator Sasha Heath. The artwork depicts a network of streets, residential blocks, green spaces, and a winding blue river running along the side. Prominent landmarks and storefronts are labeled with handwritten typography, rendered in a colorful ink and wash technique on a clean white background. The composition uses a playful, cartographic style to outline local geography, street names, and architectural highlights.
