Description

Captured in Paris by photographer Harmony Korine, this image presents a candid portrait inside a car. A Black man in his 20s with short dark hair and a mustache is seated behind the wheel, wearing a multicolored varsity-style jacket over a white undershirt and a thin chain necklace. He holds up a large plush toy depicting a monkey tucked inside a yellow banana peel. The interior of the vehicle features pale leather headrests and visible window glass showing a sunlit urban backdrop outside. The direct flash lighting creates a stark, immediate snapshot aesthetic with natural grain characteristic of analogue capture.
