Description

A young Black male athlete is seated near a turquoise swimming pool, holding an orange Wilson basketball against his lap. He wears a black athletic tank top and black track pants with white stripes down the sides. In the upper left corner, an inset black and white photograph shows a full-length shot of the same athlete posing with a basketball against a white backdrop. The natural lighting highlights his features and the texture of his skin and athletic apparel. The composition captures a relaxed yet athletic mood by the water's edge, photographed in New York by Hana Asano.
