About

This minimalist studio photograph by photographer Gustav Almestål in New York features a smooth, sinuous dark ribbon gracefully snaking across a pale, cool-toned background. A vertical dark rectangular block anchors the composition on the right edge, contrasting with the fluid curves of the central element. The lighting is soft and diffused, highlighting the subtle shadows cast by the curving strip against the flat surface. The composition emphasizes clean lines, simple geometric forms, and a restrained monochromatic color palette.
