Glen Luchford, Videographer/Director, New York

Description

This monochrome photograph by Glen Luchford captures a woman reclining in tall, dry grass beneath the textured bark of a large, prominent tree. She rests in a natural outdoor terrain featuring rolling hills and sparse vegetation in the background. The black and white grain gives the scene a classic, documentary-style aesthetic with natural lighting highlighting the contours of the landscape and subject. The composition balances the relaxed figure of the woman with the vertical presence of the tree trunk and the distant sloping hills.
