Friedrich Kunath, Illustrator, New York

Description

This captivating oil painting by illustrator Friedrich Kunath depicts a vintage green sports car driving away along a winding coastal mountain road. The textured brushwork captures the warm, fading light of sunset casting deep shadows across the asphalt and the towering rock formation on the right. In the background, muted blue mountains and a delicate lone tree soften the dramatic horizon under a gentle sky. Faint gestural marks and textured impasto create a tangible depth throughout the canvas surface, highlighting the atmospheric road trip narrative.
