Description

This textured oil painting by illustrator Friedrich Kunath features thick, expressive impasto brushstrokes across a pale blue and white surface. The hand-lettered phrase storms never last is inscribed across the lower center with small dark bird silhouettes flying in the upper right. Dark textural elements anchor the lower left corner while visible canvas weave and heavy paint ridges give the piece a tactile quality.
