About

An aerial high-angle view captures a solitary figure standing on a vast expanse of white snow and ice beside a dark, open flowing river. The person is dressed in winter clothing and holds an ice auger tool, preparing for ice fishing. The natural winter landscape is bathed in bright daylight, casting crisp shadows across the frozen surface. The composition emphasizes the scale of the wintry environment and the solitary activity. This photograph was captured by Franck Pourcel.
