Felix Wong, Photographer, New York

Description

Captured by photographer Felix Wong in New York, this vertical street portrait features a smiling young Black woman with braided hair wearing a black strapless top and pleated skirt. She is positioned outdoors in front of a parked teal blue car and a dark gray residential building with visible windows. Her right arm is raised high in a welcoming gesture towards the camera. The natural daylight illuminates the urban setting, and the composition focuses on the subject's expression and contemporary styling.
