Felisha Tolentino, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This vibrant vertical portrait captured by photographer and director Felisha Tolentino features a smiling Black woman with her eyes closed in joy, posing closely next to a medium-length brown and white dog. The woman wears a white ribbed top, a delicate gold necklace with a pendant, and small gold hoop earrings, while the dog wears a pink circular collar tag with a letter. They are positioned against a wall decorated with playful line drawings of animals above a patch of artificial green turf. The lighting is bright and clean, accentuating the warm expressions and natural textures of both subjects.
